19. What is a „declaration of completeness“ (VE) and what does it include?
The new § 10 of the German Packaging Ordinance has introduced for specific companies the obligation to submit a declaration of completeness.
The contents of the VE are as follows:
- type of material and quantities of sales packaging for private and industrial end-users
- the break down of packaging volumes for private end-users to the dual systems,
- type of material and quantities in industrial-specific solutions including the name of the company certifying these quantities,
- information on the type of recovery of sales packaging for industrial end-users
