Pre\u00advious\u00adly, this was regu\u00adla\u00adted by the Pack\u00ada\u00adging Ordi\u00adnan\u00adce (Ver\u00adpackV), which was repla\u00adced by the Pack\u00ada\u00adging Act (Ver\u00adpackG) in 2019. It came into force on 1 Janu\u00adary 2019 to imple\u00adment the Euro\u00adpean Pack\u00ada\u00adging Direc\u00adti\u00adve 94\/62\/EC in Ger\u00adma\u00adny. Each EU coun\u00adtry has its own pack\u00ada\u00adging legis\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon, and the Ver\u00adpackG only appli\u00ades to the Fede\u00adral Repu\u00adblic of Ger\u00adma\u00adny. It was the first offi\u00adci\u00adal regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon that made manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders respon\u00adsi\u00adble for the dis\u00adpo\u00adsal of their pro\u00adducts and pack\u00ada\u00adging. The aim of the Pack\u00ada\u00adging Ordi\u00adnan\u00adce was to avo\u00adid the crea\u00adti\u00adon of pack\u00ada\u00adging and to regu\u00adla\u00adte its reco\u00advery. On 1 Janu\u00adary 2019, it was repla\u00adced by the Ger\u00adman Pack\u00ada\u00adging Act (Ver\u00adpackG). Any pack\u00ada\u00adging that can\u2019t be avo\u00adided should be reusable or at least recy\u00adclable. This also appli\u00ades to the pack\u00ada\u00adging of the pro\u00adduct.  <\/p>\n<p>Anyo\u00adne that places packa\u00adged goods on the mar\u00adket should, the\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfo\u00adre, also be respon\u00adsi\u00adble for the envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adly sound dis\u00adpo\u00adsal of their pack\u00ada\u00adging. By law, the initi\u00adal dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtor of packa\u00adged goods is respon\u00adsi\u00adble for the coll\u00adec\u00adtion, sort\u00ading and recy\u00adcling of the pack\u00ada\u00adging in ques\u00adti\u00adon. As it would be impos\u00adsi\u00adble and extre\u00adme\u00adly inef\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adent for each dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtor to coll\u00adect and sort their own pack\u00ada\u00adging, this task is assi\u00adgned to the dual sys\u00adtems.   <\/p>\n<p>This ensu\u00adres that as much of the pack\u00ada\u00adging sub\u00adject to man\u00adda\u00adto\u00adry par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon as pos\u00adsi\u00adble is pro\u00adper\u00adly coll\u00adec\u00adted from con\u00adsu\u00admers, sor\u00adted and recy\u00adcled.
