Founded in 2005, RENE AG is a German service provider for compliance solutions for the circular economy \/ WEEE.<\/li>\n<li>The acquisition is part of the Reconomy Group\u2019s strategy as an asset-light company to build on its leading role as a full service provider of global compliance solutions.<br>RENE complements the range of services of the Reconomy Group\u2019s European compliance programme offering and provides attractive data management solutions and payment services for B2B and B2C markets.<\/li>\n<li>With the addition of RENE, the Reconomy Group\u2019s Comply Division is now able to offer unique access to a high quality, global recycling network, providing effective and environmentally friendly logistics solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Reconomy Group has acquired RENE AG, based in Eppishausen im Allg\u00e4u, Germany. RENE AG has more than 17 years of experience with electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and packaging regulations, and operates in more than 60 countries across the globe. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reconomygroup.com\/sectors\/environmental-compliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comply Division of the Reconomy Group<\/a> consists of Valpak (UK), Noventiz (Germany) and Reverse Logistics GmbH (RLG) (international with headquarters in Germany) and already offers extensive global sustainability consulting and environmental compliance services to major customers across all industries. RENE AG will be primarily aligned with RLG, with the combination of complementary services generating significant customer benefits. Both companies operate WEEE and battery take-back schemes and have networks of approved recycling companies. This will allow them to extend their geographical reach as well as their capacity. RENE AG operates its own take-back scheme for waste electrical and electronic equipment in Denmark, while RLG is established in many European and non-European countries.  <\/p>\n<p>RENE AG fits perfectly into the Reconomy Group\u2019s technology-driven asset-light model. It will bring expertise that goes beyond WEEE, batteries and compliance, such as data management, reporting, consulting and payment services for B2B and B2C markets. This will help customers from all over the world and across all sectors to access all services from a single source. <\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the acquisition, Patrick Wiedemann, Group CEO of RLG and CEO of the Reconomy Comply Division, says: \u201cThis transaction is the next step in growing the Reconomy Group\u2019s position and expanding our global footprint.
