The Sin\u00adgle-Use Pla\u00ads\u00adtics Fund Act (EWK\u00adFondsG) pro\u00advi\u00addes the legal frame\u00adwork for the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon of the Sin\u00adgle-Use Pla\u00ads\u00adtics Fund. This fund is used to levy char\u00adges on spe\u00adci\u00adfic pro\u00adducts con\u00adtai\u00adning pla\u00ads\u00adtic. The pro\u00addu\u00adcers of the\u00adse pro\u00adducts pay levies pre\u00adscri\u00adbed by law into this fund. \u2022 Pla\u00ads\u00adtic car\u00adri\u00ader bags
\u2022 Wet wipes
\u2022 Bal\u00adloons
\u2022 And cer\u00adtain tob\u00adac\u00adco pro\u00adducts<\/p>\n

From 2026, manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders of fire\u00adworks will also be affec\u00adted by the Sin\u00adgle-Use Pla\u00ads\u00adtics Fund Act.<\/p>\n

Affec\u00adted com\u00adpa\u00adnies must regis\u00adter with the Fede\u00adral Envi\u00adron\u00adment Agen\u00adcy and report their quan\u00adti\u00adties pla\u00adced on the mar\u00adket from 2024.<\/h4>\n

The\u00adse are the basis for a levy to be paid into the new sin\u00adgle-use pla\u00ads\u00adtic fund.
Under the Sin\u00adgle-Use Pla\u00ads\u00adtics Fund Act, com\u00adpa\u00adnies are obli\u00adged to pay into the Sin\u00adgle-Use Pla\u00ads\u00adtics Fund depen\u00adding on the quan\u00adti\u00adty and type of sin\u00adgle-use pla\u00ads\u00adtic pro\u00adducts first made available or sold on the mar\u00adket. This annu\u00adal pay\u00adment is deter\u00admi\u00adned by a spe\u00adci\u00adfic spe\u00adcial levy, known as the sin\u00adgle-use pla\u00ads\u00adtic levy, and cal\u00adcu\u00adla\u00adted by the Fede\u00adral Envi\u00adron\u00adment Agen\u00adcy. The exact levy rates are deter\u00admi\u00adned by legal ordi\u00adnan\u00adce and are based on the quan\u00adti\u00adties repor\u00adted by manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders.
Fail\u00adure to regis\u00adter or to regis\u00adter pro\u00adper\u00adly is to result in auto\u00adma\u00adtic sales bans. The sin\u00adgle-use pla\u00ads\u00adtic pro\u00adducts may then, among other things, neither be made available on the mar\u00adket nor sold.<\/p>\n
