It is a Euro\u00adpean regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon that aims to redu\u00adce the envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal impact of pack\u00ada\u00adging within the Euro\u00adpean Uni\u00adon.  <\/p><p>To this end, mate\u00adri\u00adal con\u00adsump\u00adti\u00adon and pack\u00ada\u00adging was\u00adte are to be redu\u00adced and recy\u00adcling loops pro\u00admo\u00adted. (Febru\u00adary 2026)<\/h3><p>The Pack\u00ada\u00adging and Pack\u00ada\u00adging Was\u00adte Regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon (PPWR) for\u00admal\u00adly came into force on 11 Febru\u00adary 2025. Sin\u00adce this date, the tran\u00adsi\u00adtio\u00adnal peri\u00adod of 18 months has appli\u00aded until the PPWR regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adons beco\u00adme bin\u00adding in August 2026in all EU mem\u00adber sta\u00adtes. The PPWR regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adons must be ful\u00adfil\u00adled gra\u00addu\u00adal\u00adly.    <\/p><h3>Important mile\u00adsto\u00adnes of the PPWR<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0db7e70 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0db7e70\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2026: The\u00adse obli\u00adga\u00adti\u00adons need to be ful\u00adfil\u00adled in 2026<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders must ensu\u00adre that their pack\u00ada\u00adging is desi\u00adgned, pro\u00addu\u00adced and label\u00adled in accordance with the requi\u00adre\u00adments of the PPWR.
