In this artic\u00adle, we sum\u00adma\u00adri\u00adze the key aspects of the PPWR Decla\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon of Con\u00adfor\u00admi\u00adty. <\/h3><h2>What is the PPWR Decla\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon of Con\u00adfor\u00admi\u00adty?<\/h2><p>The Decla\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon of Con\u00adfor\u00admi\u00adty pur\u00adsu\u00adant to Artic\u00adle 39 of the PPWR is a writ\u00adten self-decla\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon through which manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders demons\u00adtra\u00adte that their pack\u00ada\u00adging com\u00adpli\u00ades with all appli\u00adca\u00adble requi\u00adre\u00adments of the new EU Pack\u00ada\u00adging and Pack\u00ada\u00adging Was\u00adte Regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon (PPWR). It beco\u00admes man\u00adda\u00adto\u00adry for every pack\u00ada\u00adging item from 12 August 2026 onwards. <\/p><p>Other EU regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adons also requi\u00adre decla\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons of con\u00adfor\u00admi\u00adty. This obli\u00adga\u00adti\u00adon appli\u00ades to every pack\u00ada\u00adging item from 12 August 2026, wit\u00adhout any tran\u00adsi\u00adtio\u00adnal peri\u00adod. <br>The legal role of the manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer was new\u00adly intro\u00addu\u00adced by the PPWR and must be con\u00adside\u00adred sepa\u00adra\u00adte\u00adly from the role of the pro\u00addu\u00adcer.
