In future, com\u00adpa\u00adnies that place tex\u00adti\u00adles on the mar\u00adket for the first time in an EU coun\u00adtry will be requi\u00adred to con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adte finan\u00adci\u00adal\u00adly to the cos\u00adts asso\u00adcia\u00adted with their end-of-life manage\u00adment. This includes sepa\u00adra\u00adte coll\u00adec\u00adtion, sort\u00ading, pre\u00adpa\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon for reu\u00adse, and recy\u00adcling of used tex\u00adti\u00adles. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">While the EU requi\u00adre\u00adments defi\u00adne the over\u00adall frame\u00adwork, Mem\u00adber Sta\u00adtes retain fle\u00adxi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty when it comes to the spe\u00adci\u00adfic design of their natio\u00adnal sys\u00adtems.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fbd498b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fbd498b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Cur\u00adrent situa\u00adti\u00adon in Ger\u00adma\u00adny: Regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon in pre\u00adpa\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7d8d344 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7d8d344\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Unli\u00adke count\u00adries such as France or the Net\u00adher\u00adlands, Ger\u00adma\u00adny <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">does not yet have its own tex\u00adti\u00adle EPR sys\u00adtem in place.<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Howe\u00adver, one thing is clear: Ger\u00adma\u00adny is requi\u00adred to imple\u00adment the EU requi\u00adre\u00adments within the pre\u00adscri\u00adbed dead\u00adlines.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Spe\u00adci\u00adfi\u00adcal\u00adly, this means:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><ul><li aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-leveltext=\"\u2022\" data-font=\"Arial\" data-listid=\"4\" data-list-defn-props=\"{\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong>By 17 June 2027<\/strong> at the latest, Ger\u00adma\u00adny must adopt natio\u00adnal legis\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-leveltext=\"\u2022\" data-font=\"Arial\" data-listid=\"4\" data-list-defn-props=\"{\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">By 17 April 2028 at the latest<\/span><\/b>, <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ger\u00adma\u00adny must have estab\u00adlished a func\u00adtio\u00adning tex\u00adti\u00adle EPR sys\u00adtem (or sys\u00adtems). <\/span> <span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">By this point, com\u00adpa\u00adnies will have to com\u00adply with the rele\u00advant obli\u00adga\u00adti\u00adons. Micro-enter\u00adpri\u00adses will be gran\u00adted an addi\u00adtio\u00adnal year to meet the requi\u00adre\u00adments. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At pre\u00adsent, the\u00adre are inten\u00adsi\u00adve dis\u00adcus\u00adsions within expert cir\u00adcles, indus\u00adtry asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adons, and poli\u00adti\u00adcal bodies regar\u00adding the design of a natio\u00adnal tex\u00adti\u00adle EPR sys\u00adtem in Ger\u00adma\u00adny. A model ali\u00adgned with estab\u00adlished EPR mecha\u00adnisms is expec\u00adted (e.g. manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer finan\u00adcing, PRO struc\u00adtures, report\u00ading and regis\u00adtra\u00adti\u00adon sys\u00adtems). Howe\u00adver, con\u00adcre\u00adte and final details on natio\u00adnal legis\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon and regis\u00adters in Ger\u00adma\u00adny  <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> are not yet data-contrast=\"auto\">The spe\u00adci\u00adfic dead\u00adlines will only be defi\u00adned once natio\u00adnal legis\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon is adopted.
