The PPWR Regulation comes into force in August 2026
As of 12 August 2026, the legal requirements of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) will become binding in all EU member states – including Germany. What does this mean in concrete terms for companies operating on the European and German market? From this date onwards, the PPWR requirements must be fully complied with.
What can companies do now?
Many companies feel overwhelmed by the requirements of the PPWR. They are seeking clarity on which obligations apply to them and what concrete steps they need to take to ensure compliance. Both short-term and long-term topics need to be addressed.
As a reliable partner, Noventiz has developed a solution to meet this need: With the Eco-Check, we offer a hands-on workshop combined with individual consulting to help you successfully master the challenges of the PPWR.
Only
days to go – the PPWR is coming!
Eco-Check: PPWR Compliance with Noventiz
Noventiz offers two consulting products to support companies in preparing for the PPWR. What both workshops have in common is a clear focus on the PPWR, content tailored to the individual company, and sufficient time for individual questions. Participants are guided through the legal requirements of the regulation in a structured and practical way – a steep learning curve included.
The two formats available differ in their mode of delivery – online vs. on-site – and in their content focus: While the digital compact format concentrates on the obligations relevant in 2026, the on-site workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the PPWR up to 2030.

What our customers say
The Eco-Check was launched in 2025. Since then, we have already helped numerous customers gain clarity on PPWR requirements. Some customers were so impressed that they shared their positive feedback with us afterwards – which we would like to share with you as well.
Arthur Mielimonka,
Dr. Miele Cosmed GmbH
The workshop exceeded our expectations. It covered current environmental regulations in depth, but the most helpful part was practical implementation – where our specific questions were addressed and were able to develop measures tailored to our company. The workshop was rounded off with hands-on practice, where we analysed our packaging using a mobile NIR scanner. It was absolutely worthwhile!
Stephanie Leu-Höbbel,
La mer Sea Cosmetics AG
The Deep Dive into the PPWR requirements was especially helpful. The complex legal specifications were explained clearly and in a way that was easy to follow.
We also learned how to make our packaging future-proof,
and working with the near-infrared scanner highlighted which materials can still be identified in sorting facilities later on. Thank you so much for all the valuable tips!
